Hebrews 2:15
Hebrews 2:15
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Through Christ’s redemptive work, we are delivered from the fear of death that once held us captive. This verse speaks to the power of Christ’s sacrifice in breaking the chains of bondage, not just from sin, but from the fear that grips so many of us. Death, which once seemed like an insurmountable obstacle, is no longer something to fear for those who are in Christ. Jesus has conquered death, and through His resurrection, we too have victory over it. This redemption brings us freedom—from the fear of death, from the fear of the unknown, and from the fear of condemnation. In Christ, we are free to live boldly, knowing that our eternal future is secure. Our lives are no longer governed by fear, but by the hope and promise of salvation. This is the gift of grace that we receive through Jesus: a life free from the fear that once held us in bondage. With Christ, we are empowered to live with purpose and confidence, knowing that death no longer has dominion over us.
