Hebrews 2:18
Hebrews 2:18
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Jesus is not only our Savior, but He is also our source of comfort in times of trial and temptation. This verse assures us that Christ, having suffered and been tempted Himself, is able to help us when we face temptation. His empathy and understanding are deep, as He walked through the same struggles we face. Jesus is the perfect High Priest, able to support and strengthen us when we are tempted. In moments of weakness, we can call on Him for help. He knows the struggle and offers us His grace and mercy. We can trust that He will give us the strength to overcome, as He has already conquered temptation and sin. His suffering becomes the source of our victory.
Luke 11:4
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
1 Corinthians 10:21
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils ye cannot be partakers of the Lord s table, and of the table of devils.
2 Corinthians 1:11
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
James 4:7
