Hebrews 4:11
Hebrews 4:11
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
The call to diligence in entering God’s rest reflects the need for unwavering faith in His promises. Just as the Israelites struggled with unbelief in the wilderness, we too may face doubts that hinder us from experiencing the peace God offers. This verse encourages us to persevere in our faith, actively trusting in God's word and promises, so that we might avoid the pitfalls of unbelief. True rest comes not from our efforts alone but from surrendering our fears and anxieties to God. When we labor in faith, we find ourselves held by His grace, encouraged by His presence, and ultimately entering the spiritual rest He has prepared. Through this, we grow closer to God, experiencing His peace in deeper ways. This verse serves as a reminder that diligence and faith go hand in hand in our journey with God, pushing us to rely on His strength rather than our own understanding.
John 20:31
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Romans 11:20
Because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear.
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Hebrews 3:12
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
