Isaiah 12:2
Isaiah 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Trusting in God is a courageous act, one that defies the fear and uncertainty that often accompany difficult situations. When we declare, "God is my salvation," we are acknowledging that He alone is our source of hope and deliverance. This trust is not passive; it requires an active decision to place our confidence in God rather than in our own abilities or the circumstances around us. This trust in God banishes fear, for we know that He is greater than anything we face. The Lord is not only the source of salvation but also the strength we need to overcome fear. This verse encourages us to put our full trust in God, even when fear rises within us. He is our refuge and our salvation, and we can confidently say that we will not be afraid, for God is with us. Trusting in His power and promises provides the courage to face any trial with unwavering faith.
Matthew 6:25
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
John 13:7
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
Psalms 62:6
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
Psalms 9:10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
