Isaiah 40:12
Isaiah 40:12
Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span.
This verse gives us a vivid image of God’s power and greatness, illustrating that He is capable of measuring the oceans with His hand and the heavens with the span of His fingers. These two actions represent the immeasurable vastness of creation, emphasizing the boundless nature of God’s wisdom and power. What is unfathomable to humanity—such as the depths of the seas and the expanse of the heavens—are easily measured by God. This calls us to recognize the magnitude of His sovereignty, and to trust in His ability to manage every detail of the world, no matter how small or large. It reminds us that, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges may seem, the Creator who fashioned the universe is more than capable of handling the challenges we face.

2 Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
Exodus 33:21
And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock.
Psalms 93:4
The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
