Bebe's interpretation
The Lord's promise to help is an anchor of hope for every believer. With the assurance that He will never leave us or forsake us, we can set our faces like flint, determined and unshaken in our faith. A flint is hard and resolute, making it an apt symbol of the unwavering trust we are called to have in God’s promises. No matter the challenges we face, we are empowered by His presence to stand firm. Confidence in God’s ability to protect and lead us allows us to move forward boldly. We do not face trials alone; God goes before us and remains by our side. The strength to endure difficult circumstances comes not from our own abilities but from God's unchanging character. With Him as our helper, we are not confounded or disheartened. Instead, we are emboldened to stand firm in our faith, knowing that the One who helps us is powerful and faithful to complete His work in us.
