Isaiah 55:3
Isaiah 55:3
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live.
God calls us to incline our ear to Him, to listen with intent and purpose. When we listen to God, He promises that our souls will live. This verse emphasizes the life-giving power of God’s Word. It is not merely a matter of hearing but of truly listening—hearing with a heart ready to receive and respond. Listening to God brings us closer to Him, strengthening our relationship with our Creator. It is through hearing and obeying God’s Word that we find true life, peace, and fulfillment. This verse encourages us to set aside distractions, to focus on God’s voice, and to allow His Word to bring life to our hearts. As we listen, our faith grows, and we are renewed in our commitment to follow Him.
