Bebe's interpretation
This promise of a new light, one that does not depend on the sun or moon, symbolizes the eternal glory of God’s presence. Unlike earthly lights that fade, God’s light is everlasting, illuminating our lives with a brilliance that surpasses all understanding. This verse foreshadows a future where we no longer rely on physical sources of light, for God Himself will be our illumination. His presence brings warmth, guidance, and comfort that will never wane. In this promise, we find hope, as God’s glory will replace all sources of darkness, both physically and spiritually. The eternal light represents our ultimate union with Him, where His presence is our constant reality. This verse invites us to live in anticipation of that day, allowing His light to guide us now, as we await the fullness of His glory. Our future is secure in His radiance, a life illuminated by His love and grace.
