Isaiah 60:20
Isaiah 60:20
Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more.
The promise of an eternal light speaks to the enduring nature of God’s glory. Unlike the natural sun and moon, which may set or fade, God’s presence is unending, illuminating our lives with a light that will never dim. This verse offers hope, reminding us that there will be a time when God’s glory will replace earthly sources of light. This eternal light represents the fullness of His presence, a promise of a future where darkness no longer exists. In our journey of faith, we can cling to this assurance that God’s light will guide us beyond earthly limitations. His glory is both a comfort and a promise, a beacon that draws us closer to Him. As we live in anticipation of this eternal day, we are encouraged to seek His light now, allowing His presence to guide and sustain us. Our future with Him is secure, a life illuminated by the everlasting light of His glory.
Psalm 104:19
He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.
Psalm 72:5
They shall fear you as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
Mark 13:24
The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light.
Matthew 5:45
He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
