Jeremiah 6:14
Jeremiah 6:14
They have treated the wound of my people carelessly, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.
In the face of false promises and deceptive peace, this verse speaks to the danger of ignoring true spiritual healing. The people in this passage are being misled by those who say "peace, peace," even though there is no real peace. This false sense of peace can be comforting in the short term, but it does not lead to lasting healing or true reconciliation. God calls us to confront the realities of our brokenness and to seek genuine peace that comes from a restored relationship with Him. This verse serves as a warning against complacency and a call to seek truth and true healing. God does not offer a superficial peace, but a peace that brings transformation and wholeness. When we encounter God’s truth, we experience true peace, and it is only through His truth that we can find true rest for our souls.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Romans 12:17
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
