Joel 2:13
Joel 2:13
And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Repentance involves more than just external actions; it is about the inward change that comes when we surrender our thoughts, desires, and behaviors to God. God promises mercy to those who turn to Him in repentance. His mercy is abundant and unfailing, ready to cleanse and restore us no matter how far we have fallen. As we return to the Lord with true humility, we open the door to God’s mercy and forgiveness, trusting that He will heal and restore us. This kind of repentance leads to renewal, where we not only recognize our wrongs but also embrace God’s grace and begin to live according to His will. True repentance changes the way we live, think, and relate to God, bringing us into deeper fellowship with Him.
Matthew 3:2

Joel 2:12
Even now, declares the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
James 4:8
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
