John 14:9
John 14:9
Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
In this powerful statement, Jesus reveals His unity with the Father. He declares that anyone who has seen Him has seen the Father, emphasizing the divine nature of Jesus. This is a central truth of the Christian faith: Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. In His life, teachings, and actions, Jesus perfectly reveals the nature, will, and heart of God. The unity between the Father and the Son is not just spiritual but also essential to understanding the character of God. Jesus' revelation of the Father is not limited to words; it is shown through His actions, His love, and His ultimate sacrifice on the cross. To know Jesus is to know the Father, and through Him, we come to understand God’s plan for humanity.
