John 15:5
John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
In Christ, we are deeply connected to Him, just as branches are connected to the vine. This relationship is central to our identity as believers. The vine provides everything the branches need to grow and bear fruit, just as Christ is the source of our strength, growth, and purpose. When we remain in Christ, we are able to live out our calling and fulfill the purpose for which we were created. Our identity as branches is a reminder that we cannot live apart from Him; we need His presence, guidance, and nourishment to thrive. This connection to the vine is a source of strength, purpose, and growth, and it empowers us to live according to God's will.
Hosea 1:9
Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
Psalm 139:14
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Song of Solomon 1:5
I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar.
Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
