John 15:9
John 15:9
The Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
John 15:9 speaks of the profound and unconditional love that Jesus has for His followers. He emphasizes that just as the Father has loved Him, so He loves us. This divine love is the foundation of our relationship with Christ and serves as the model for how we are to love one another. The command to "remain in My love" is a call to live in constant connection with Jesus, allowing His love to shape our lives, actions, and relationships. Remaining in Jesus' love means living according to His teachings, seeking His guidance in all things, and reflecting His love to those around us. It is through abiding in His love that we experience His peace, joy, and fulfillment. The Father's love, expressed through Jesus, is a gift that never changes and is always available to us. As we remain in this love, we are empowered to live lives that are marked by compassion, grace, and truth, extending the same love that we have received to others. This love transforms us and helps us grow in our relationship with God, providing a secure foundation for our lives.
John 16:27

Luke 15:20
But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion.
