John 3:36
John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
The promise of eternal life is directly tied to belief in the Son, Jesus Christ. In this verse, we are reminded that salvation is not just a gift but a condition upon obedience to Christ. Believing in Him is not passive; it requires an active trust in His words and His work of redemption. When we truly believe, we embrace His teachings, live by His example, and commit ourselves to His mission. This belief is transformative—it leads to eternal life, which is more than just an endless existence but a life in relationship with God. In contrast, rejecting the Son leads to separation from life, for apart from Him, there is no true life. This verse calls us to examine our faith—not just to acknowledge Jesus’ existence but to surrender to His authority and accept His grace. The importance of obedience is emphasized here; faith is not merely intellectual assent but active participation in the will of God, aligning our lives with His purposes.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Galatians 6:8
Whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
