John 6:63
John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.
The Spirit gives life, and the flesh counts for nothing. This verse emphasizes the importance of the spiritual over the physical. While our bodies are temporary and will eventually fade away, the Spirit gives us eternal life. The flesh is weak, but the Spirit empowers us to live in accordance with God’s will. True life is found in the Spirit, and it is through Him that we are made alive. As believers, we are called to live according to the Spirit, relying on His strength and guidance. This verse encourages us to focus on spiritual growth, trusting that the Spirit will lead us to eternal life, far beyond the fleeting pleasures of the flesh.
James 4:14
