Jude 1:18
Jude 1:18
They said to you, In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.
This verse is a warning about the rise of scoffers and mockers in the last days, individuals who reject God and follow their own passions. These people are driven by ungodly desires and live in opposition to the truth of God’s Word. The Bible warns us that in the last days, there will be an increase in such people, and their scoffing will bring about division, deception, and destruction. This serves as both a warning and a call to vigilance. The believer is urged to remain rooted in God’s truth, to stand firm against the influence of those who would lead others astray, and to hold fast to faith in the face of mockery. We are reminded that the passions of this world are fleeting, but the truth of God is eternal. This verse encourages us to not be swayed by the scoffers and to remain faithful to the Word of God, knowing that the day of judgment is coming.
