Leviticus 19:3
Ye shall fear every man his mother and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.
Reverence for parents is a timeless principle that teaches respect, obedience, and humility. To ‘fear’ one’s parents is to hold them in high regard, recognizing their wisdom and authority. This respect is foundational to a life that values family and tradition. By honoring our parents, we learn the importance of discipline and the beauty of obedience. This reverence extends to our values and beliefs, reminding us to respect not only our family but also the principles that guide us. Living with this respect creates a home filled with peace and love, a place where each member feels valued and honored.
