Leviticus 20:9
Leviticus 20:9
And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.
Disrespect toward parents, whether in words or actions, is deeply harmful to family unity. Cursing or dishonoring parents not only affects them but also impacts one’s own character. Such behavior goes against principles of respect and gratitude, which are foundational to strong family relationships. Honoring parents requires humility, acknowledging their role and sacrifices. By choosing respect, we cultivate a heart that values family, love, and responsibility. This respect creates an atmosphere of peace and understanding, teaching us the importance of treating family with dignity. Honoring parents is a choice that brings honor to both them and ourselves.
Proverbs 1:8

Leviticus 19:3
