Luke 1:51
Luke 1:51
He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
God’s strength is displayed in His ability to humble the proud. He knows the thoughts and intentions of every heart, and in His wisdom, He scatters the proud, bringing them low. arrogance, pride often causes individuals to rely on their own strength, leading them to neglect God’s authority. However, God’s strength is greater than any arrogance, prideful heart. The proud are scattered in their thoughts because their hearts are hardened by self-sufficiency, and they are blind to their need for God. In contrast, humility opens the door to God’s grace, allowing His power to flow freely. When we humble ourselves before the Lord, we acknowledge His sovereignty and power. God’s strength is seen in His ability to humble the proud, and His desire is for all to come to Him in humility. It is through humility that we find true strength—not the strength of our own might, but the strength that comes from being fully surrendered to God’s will. Humility prepares our hearts to receive God's guidance and to be used for His purposes.
Psalm 138:6

Psalm 101:5
Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not tolerate.
Isaiah 5:21

Proverbs 26:12
