Luke 10:19
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus speaks to the exclusive role of Jesus Christ as the mediator between humanity and God. Jesus is the only one who bridges the gap between sinful humanity and a holy God. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Christ has made it possible for people to be reconciled with God. This verse underscores the uniqueness of Christ and the necessity of faith in Him for salvation. For believers, this verse is a reminder of the centrality of Christ in our relationship with God. He is not just a mediator, but the only mediator who can restore the broken relationship between mankind and God. This teaching calls Christians to put their trust solely in Christ, recognizing that no one else can bring them to God. It challenges us to live in a way that reflects our gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice and the exclusive role He plays in our salvation. By acknowledging Christ as the only way to God, believers are called to share the good news with others, offering them the hope of reconciliation through Jesus.

And he said to them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.
Romans 13:1
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
