Matthew 10:32
Matthew 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
The call to openly declare our faith in Jesus Christ is one that challenges us to live with boldness and courage. When we choose to confess Jesus before others, we are not just speaking words but making a statement about who we are and what we believe. This public profession of faith can be daunting in a world where standing up for Jesus is often met with ridicule or opposition. Yet, Scripture promises that when we boldly confess Him before men, He will likewise acknowledge us before the Father in heaven. This declaration of faith is a testimony of God's work in our lives and a powerful reminder that we are not ashamed of the gospel. When we confess Jesus, we are declaring our trust in His saving power and our commitment to follow Him. By doing so, we honor Him and give witness to the transformation He has brought into our lives.
Psalms 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Psalms 38:18
For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
Psalms 51:4
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight.
James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
