Matthew 10:42
Matthew 10:42
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
The promise that those who give even a cup of cold water to the least of these will not lose their reward highlights the value God places on even the smallest acts of kindness. In God’s eyes, no act of love is too small or insignificant. Giving a cup of water symbolizes meeting basic needs and caring for others in simple, tangible ways. This verse encourages us to recognize the worth of every person and to extend kindness without seeking recognition or reward. When we serve others, especially those who may be overlooked, we are serving Christ Himself. This promise assures us that God sees and values our efforts to show compassion, and He honors our commitment to serve with a pure heart. It reminds us that our kindness, however small, is a reflection of God’s love, and it contributes to His kingdom in meaningful ways.

Deuteronomy 15:7

Matthew 5:42

2 Corinthians 9:6
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
