Matthew 13:3
Matthew 13:3
Behold, a sower went out to sow.
The sower who went out to sow is a picture of faith in action—actively planting seeds that will one day grow into something fruitful. The sower’s purpose is to share, spread, and plant the seeds of God’s Word, trusting that God will bring the increase. In the same way, we are called to be sowers of truth, planting seeds of faith through our words, actions, and love. While we do not control the outcome, we have the responsibility to faithfully sow the seeds, knowing that God will bring about the growth in His time. This verse challenges us to be faithful in our calling, to be active participants in God’s Kingdom work, and to trust Him with the results. Every word of truth, every act of kindness, and every step of faith that we take is like a seed planted in the soil of the Kingdom, waiting to sprout and grow as we trust in God’s timing and power.
2 Corinthians 9:10
He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing.
Galatians 6:7
For whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
Mark 4:14
The sower sows the word.
Ecclesiastes 11:4
He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.
