Matthew 17:20
Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Faith, even as small as a mustard seed, has the power to accomplish great things. This verse emphasizes that it is not the size of our faith that matters, but the object of our faith—God Himself. When we trust in God’s power, even the most impossible situations can be transformed. A small amount of faith in the right God is enough to move mountains, both figuratively and literally. This verse calls us to trust in God’s limitless ability and to step out in faith, believing that He can do what we cannot. It challenges us to believe that with God, all things are possible. The power of faith is not about the quantity of belief but about placing that belief in a God who is able to accomplish His will. No matter how small our faith may seem, if it is directed toward God, it has the power to move mountains and bring about God's will in our lives and in the world.
