Matthew 22:14
Matthew 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.
For many are called, but few are chosen. This verse from Matthew 22:14 highlights the reality that while God's call is extended to all, not everyone responds to it. The invitation is open, but it is the faithful, obedient ones who are chosen to experience the fullness of His kingdom. Birthdays serve as a reminder that we are all called to walk in relationship with God, but the choice is ours to make. Will we respond to His call? Will we choose to live according to His ways and enter into the fullness of His blessing? God's call is a gracious invitation, and though many hear it, it is those who respond with faith and obedience who are chosen to experience His best. As we look ahead to the year, let us renew our commitment to respond to God’s call with a heart of obedience and faithfulness.

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;).
Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.
