Matthew 4:19
Matthew 4:19
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Jesus’ invitation to “Come, follow me” is not just about personal transformation but also about entering into a mission. Jesus calls us to a life of discipleship, where we learn from Him and take on His mission of seeking and saving the lost. He promises that by following Him, we will be equipped to become “fishers of men”—people who share the gospel and help others come to faith. Discipleship, therefore, is not just about growing in knowledge but about being sent out into the world to spread the message of the kingdom. Our transformation through following Christ is both internal and external. As we grow in His likeness, we become more effective witnesses, sharing His love and truth with the world. This verse emphasizes the importance of evangelism as part of our discipleship. To follow Jesus is to engage in the mission of making disciples, reaching out to those who are lost, and bringing them into the family of God.
Psalm 96:3

Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Romans 10:15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!.
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
