Matthew 7:19
Matthew 7:19
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
This verse serves as a warning about the consequences of living apart from God's righteousness. Just as a tree that fails to bear fruit is cut down, those who do not produce good fruit—who do not live according to God's will—will face judgment. The imagery of being thrown into the fire speaks to the ultimate consequence of living a life that is disconnected from God and His purposes. It is a call to spiritual urgency, urging us to evaluate the fruit we are bearing in our lives. Are we living according to God's will, or are we allowing our lives to be overtaken by selfishness, sin, or indifference? The Bible teaches that our actions have consequences, and that without genuine faith and righteousness, we are in danger of separation from God. This verse challenges us to live with purpose, bearing fruit that honors God and reflects His goodness.
Revelation 7:1
I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds.
Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
Job 14:7
For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its tender branch will not cease.
Hosea 14:6
His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
