Matthew 8:3
Matthew 8:3
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean.
Jesus’ willingness to touch and heal a man in need reflects His power and deep compassion. By reaching out His hand, He not only addresses the physical ailment but also restores dignity and hope to a person likely marginalized by society. This act shows us that healing is both a physical and spiritual act of restoration. Jesus does not hesitate or hold back but affirms His desire to heal with the words, “I will; be thou clean.” His declaration reminds us of His authority and willingness to bring wholeness. As we look to Him, may we remember that His healing touch is available to all who seek Him in faith. His compassion is unchanging, and His desire to heal is rooted in His love for each person. Let this inspire us to trust in His power to restore and to reflect His love in how we care for others, especially those in need of compassion and healing.
Luke 5:31
And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
Jeremiah 8:22
Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
Matthew 4:24
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
Psalms 41:3
The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
