Matthew 9:8
Matthew 9:8
When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
When people see God’s power at work, they are moved to glorify Him. The awe and reverence shown by the crowds when they saw miracles is a natural response to witnessing God’s authority on earth. These miracles, which demonstrated God’s power, caused people to praise Him and acknowledge His supreme ability to intervene in human affairs. When we experience God's power firsthand or witness it in others, we too are called to glorify God. Embracing this truth invites us to reflect on the ways God has shown His authority in our lives and to respond with praise. Living with this awareness fills us with a sense of awe and wonder, knowing that God’s power is always at work, even when we cannot fully understand it. Through this journey, life becomes a celebration of God's glory, and we are reminded that every act of divine intervention is meant to bring praise to His name. Embracing this truth transforms our hearts, leading us to worship Him for the mighty things He has done.
