Philippians 1:10
Philippians 1:10
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.
The call to approve things that are excellent speaks to the pursuit of perfection in every area of our lives. This verse encourages us to seek sincerity and excellence, living lives that are without offense and fully dedicated to Christ. The perfection that God desires is not one of outward perfection but a sincere, authentic faith that seeks to honor God in all things. It is a pursuit of what is excellent—what is worthy of God’s calling—through our thoughts, actions, and decisions. As we grow in faith, we are called to refine our hearts and minds, discerning what is best and most pleasing to God. Worship, in this context, becomes an act of choosing excellence, where we continually strive to live sincerely and without offense, fully aligned with God’s will. Through this pursuit of excellence, we honor Christ and prepare for His return, living lives that reflect His love and righteousness.
Colossians 1:28

2 Timothy 3:17

Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
