Philippians 1:21
Philippians 1:21
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
To live is to embody Christ’s teachings and to make Him the center of our lives; to die is to gain eternal communion with Him. This perspective reflects a heart fully surrendered to God, where life’s purpose is found in serving and glorifying Him. Living for Christ means dedicating each moment to reflect His love, compassion, and truth. This dedication transforms our outlook on life and death, viewing earthly existence as a mission field and death as the doorway to eternal fellowship with God. Such a mindset instills courage, as we realize that our lives are rooted in a purpose that transcends temporal struggles. The gain found in death is not an escape but a fulfillment of the relationship we cultivate with Christ. This dual perspective empowers us to live boldly, with a purpose grounded in faith and a hope anchored in eternity.
Psalm 37:5
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Luke 22:42
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Matthew 16:25
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
