Philippians 3:10
Philippians 3:10
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
The Apostle Paul expresses his desire to “know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings.” Paul understood that knowing Christ is not just about intellectual knowledge, but a deep, intimate experience of His life, death, and resurrection. The resurrection of Jesus is not merely a doctrine to be believed, but a power to be experienced. The power of the resurrection transforms our lives, enabling us to live in victory over sin and death. But Paul also speaks of the “fellowship of his sufferings,” acknowledging that knowing Christ involves sharing in both His suffering and His glory. The resurrection power is not just for our benefit; it calls us to live sacrificially, walking in the footsteps of Jesus. The resurrection is both the power that strengthens us and the example that calls us to live with purpose, mission, and love.
Matthew 28:6
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
1 Corinthians 15:14
And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
1 Corinthians 15:3
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
Luke 24:5
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
