Proverbs 10:11
Proverbs 10:11
A well of life unto him that hath it.
This verse speaks of the deep longing for God, comparing it to the panting of a deer for water. The hart’s thirst for water is a vivid picture of the deep longing our souls have for God. Just as the deer seeks water to survive, our souls thirst for God’s presence, nourishment, and spiritual fulfillment. This desire for God is essential to our well-being—spiritual, emotional, and even physical. In our pursuit of health, we are reminded that true fulfillment and satisfaction come only when we seek God. Let this verse inspire us to long for God’s presence in our lives, knowing that only He can truly satisfy the deepest longings of our hearts. As we devote ourselves to Him, we experience the fullness of His love, peace, and grace, which bring lasting joy and strength to our lives.
Isaiah 49:10
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them.
Revelation 22:17
And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Psalm 65:9
Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God.
Psalms 1:3
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
