Proverbs 11:27
Proverbs 11:27
He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
Seeking what is good is more than just avoiding evil; it is actively pursuing righteousness in every aspect of life. This verse teaches that those who diligently seek to do good will find favor, not only with God but also with others. Goodness is a reflection of God’s character, and those who make it their goal to live in a way that is pleasing to Him will experience His blessings. In contrast, those who seek mischief or evil will ultimately face the consequences of their actions. This verse calls us to align our desires with God's will, focusing on kindness, justice, and truth. It is not enough to passively avoid sin; we must actively seek to bring good into the world. The promise here is that when we pursue good, favor and blessing will follow us, both from God and from those around us. This is a powerful reminder that our actions have consequences, and that when we seek to live rightly, we position ourselves for God's favor.
Romans 12:21

1 Peter 4:15
Let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
Psalms 97:10
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.
