Proverbs 12:15
Proverbs 12:15
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
Proverbs 12:15 warns, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.” This verse speaks to the danger of self-reliance and pride. It’s easy to become blinded by our own perceptions and beliefs, especially when we feel confident in our own understanding. However, wisdom comes when we are willing to listen to others, especially those who have walked the path we are on. A fool is someone who dismisses others’ advice, believing their own way is always right. But the wise person is humble and willing to accept guidance and correction. In the context of a Christian life, it’s crucial to seek godly counsel—whether from Scripture, spiritual leaders, or wise peers. God often speaks through others, and our willingness to listen is a sign of spiritual maturity.
Hebrews 5:14

Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Psalms 119:66
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Proverbs 14:15
The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
