Proverbs 13:11
Proverbs 13:11
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. This verse from Proverbs 13:11 highlights the importance of honesty and integrity in managing finances. While it may seem tempting to pursue quick wealth through dishonest means, this verse reminds us that such gains are fleeting. True financial growth comes from diligent, honest work over time. In business and in life, the pursuit of wealth should never compromise our values. Birthdays serve as a time to reflect on the ways we’ve managed our resources—whether with integrity and patience or with shortcuts and greed. The habit of gathering money little by little through consistent effort and sound judgment is the path to lasting prosperity. Let us be reminded that wealth gained honestly not only lasts longer, but it also builds a strong foundation for peace of mind and security.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Proverbs 22:16
Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.
