Proverbs 14:26
Proverbs 14:26
In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
The fear of the Lord gives us a place of refuge and strong confidence. When we reverence God, we are not afraid of the challenges that come our way because we know that He is with us. This type of fear is not one of terror, but of awe and respect for God’s holiness and power. In that fear, we find safety and protection. As we submit ourselves to God’s will, we can be confident that He will guide and guard us. Trusting in the Lord brings peace to our hearts, knowing that He is the ultimate protector. The fear of the Lord establishes our foundation, and in Him, we find refuge from life’s storms. No matter what we face, we are secure in God’s presence, and His peace surrounds us. The fear of the Lord also brings wisdom, which is a key element of the confidence that believers have. This wisdom helps us navigate life’s challenges with clarity, peace, and assurance that God is in control.
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Psalm 61:3
For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
Hebrews 10:35
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
James 1:6
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
