Proverbs 15:27
Proverbs 15:27
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
One who is greedy for gain troubles his household, but he who hates bribes will live. This verse from Proverbs 15:27 speaks to the dangers of greed and dishonesty. In business, the pursuit of wealth should not come at the expense of integrity or relationships. Greed causes strife and division, but those who seek righteousness and reject bribery will experience peace and stability. Birthdays offer a time to reflect on our values and the ways we handle wealth and success. Do we chase after material gain at any cost, or do we prioritize integrity and honesty in all that we do? God calls us to seek righteousness over riches, knowing that true peace and prosperity come from Him alone. Let us commit to living with integrity, rejecting greed, and honoring God with our wealth, knowing that He rewards those who seek His righteousness.
Ecclesiastes 5:10

Proverbs 22:7
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
Proverbs 22:16
Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth, or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.
Proverbs 15:16
Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.
