Proverbs 15:29
Proverbs 15:29
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
This verse contrasts the distance between God and the wicked with the closeness He shares with the righteous. It serves as a reminder that God values a life of righteousness and is attentive to the prayers of those who seek to live according to His ways. Wickedness creates a barrier, distancing us from God, whereas righteousness draws us nearer to Him. This verse encourages us to pursue a life that aligns with God’s will, as this closeness allows us to communicate with Him freely, knowing He hears us. Let this verse inspire us to evaluate our lives and seek a path of righteousness, assured that God is near to those who honor Him and is eager to respond to their prayers.
