Proverbs 19:23
Proverbs 19:23
The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied.
The fear of the Lord leads to life, filling us with a deep sense of satisfaction. When we honor and reverence God, we align ourselves with His purposes, and this brings peace and fulfillment. The fear of the Lord is not a fear that paralyzes us but one that leads us to seek God’s wisdom and guidance. It is through reverence for Him that we find true satisfaction, as He is the source of life. This verse promises that those who fear the Lord will experience a life that is full and meaningful, grounded in His peace. The world’s pursuit of satisfaction often leaves people empty, but the life that comes from reverence to God is one of enduring fulfillment. Trusting in His ways brings contentment, for He fills us with what we need—both physically and spiritually.
1 Timothy 6:6

1 Timothy 6:8
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Proverbs 30:8
Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me.
1 Timothy 6:7
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
