Proverbs 27:6
Proverbs 27:6
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
True friendship is not based on flattery, but on loyalty and honesty. This verse contrasts the faithful wounds of a friend with the superficial kisses of an enemy. Sometimes, a true friend must offer hard truths that may hurt in the moment but ultimately lead to growth and transformation. In contrast, enemies may offer empty praise or compliments, but their intentions are to deceive or manipulate. As Christians, we are called to be faithful friends—offering support, truth, and encouragement, even when it’s difficult. True friendship involves honesty and integrity, qualities that help build lasting and meaningful relationships.

Proverbs 11:19

2 Thessalonians 3:13
But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.
