Proverbs 28:19
Proverbs 28:19
He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
Diligence is linked to leadership and influence, while laziness results in subjugation. This verse emphasizes that those who work hard and take responsibility will “bear rule,” positioned to lead and make a difference. In contrast, the slothful find themselves under “tribute,” dependent on others. God honors the diligent, granting them opportunities to serve in ways that impact others. This verse encourages us to embrace responsibility, knowing that God values our commitment and effort. By approaching our tasks with dedication, we position ourselves to lead and contribute meaningfully. Let us be inspired to pursue diligence, trusting that God’s blessings and influence follow those who serve faithfully. May we find purpose in our work, using it as a platform to reflect God’s values and make a positive impact.
Proverbs 10:5
He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
Ecclesiastes 3:13
And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
Galatians 6:4
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
John 9:4
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
