Proverbs 29:18
Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
This verse speaks to the importance of understanding what God is doing in our lives and in the world around us. When we cannot see God’s hand at work, we are prone to confusion, stumbling, and making choices that lead us away from His will. Vision, in this context, is about having a clear understanding of God’s purpose and direction—being able to see what He is doing and aligning ourselves with it. Without this vision, we are like people who stumble in the dark, unsure of where we are going and vulnerable to falling into error. On the other hand, when we have a clear vision of God’s plans, we are able to walk with confidence, purpose, and direction. This verse challenges us to seek God’s vision for our lives, to ask Him to reveal His plans, and to trust that He will guide us. It also reminds us of the importance of clarity—of understanding God’s word, His promises, and His calling. Let this verse inspire you to seek God’s vision, to ask Him to reveal His plans for you, and to live with a sense of purpose and direction. As you align yourself with God’s will, you will find that He will guide your steps, and you will be able to walk confidently in the path He has set before you.

In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy.
Psalm 119:130
The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
Matthew 13:16
But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.
