Proverbs 4:7
Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Wisdom is a treasure that can guide us through life’s challenges, but obtaining wisdom requires intentional effort. The Bible tells us that the beginning of wisdom is to seek it with all our hearts. It’s not enough to simply desire wisdom; we must actively pursue it, even at great cost. This pursuit means prioritizing the acquisition of wisdom above material gain or personal comfort. The world offers many distractions, but nothing is more valuable than gaining understanding. Wisdom gives us the ability to discern right from wrong, to navigate the complexities of life, and to live in alignment with God’s will. The sacrifices we make in pursuing wisdom are well worth it, as it leads to a life marked by peace, stability, and godliness.
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:.
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
