Psalm 103:19
Psalm 103:19
The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens and his kingdom ruleth over all.
The Lord hath prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all. Psalm 103:19 affirms the sovereignty of God, stating that He reigns from His throne in heaven, and His rule extends over all things. There is no part of creation that lies outside of His authority. This verse declares that God’s dominion is absolute, His authority is unchallenged, and His kingdom is everlasting. From His throne in heaven, God governs all that happens in the universe. His reign is not limited to a specific time or place; it is eternal and universal. For believers, this is a source of great comfort, knowing that the God who is in control of all things is also the God who loves and cares for His people. In a world that often seems chaotic and uncertain, the knowledge that God’s throne is established in the heavens provides a firm foundation for our faith. We can trust that His kingdom will never be shaken and that He will accomplish His purposes in the world.
Psalm 45:6
Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Isaiah 9:7
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
Psalm 93:1
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
Revelation 19:16
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
