Psalm 116:15
Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.
This verse underscores the immense value and dignity God places on His faithful servants, particularly in the moment of their death. Though death is often viewed as a sorrowful event, for those who faithfully serve the Lord, it is seen as precious in His sight. God views the passing of His saints as a transition to eternal life and reward. This passage reminds us that our faithfulness to God does not go unnoticed, and He will honor those who have dedicated their lives to serving Him. The death of a faithful servant is not a tragedy but a homecoming—a return to the Lord who lovingly welcomes them into His eternal presence. It also reminds us that our time on earth is a precious gift, and we are called to live with purpose and devotion to God. God’s perspective on death is one of love and faithfulness, assuring us that the lives of His servants are never in vain.
