Psalm 116:7
Psalm 116:7
Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.
God’s goodness is a wellspring of peace, a gift that allows our souls to rest. When we reflect on His blessings, we are filled with gratitude, a reminder of His faithfulness. This peace invites us to rest, to let go of worries and anxieties, trusting that God is in control. Gratitude transforms our perspective, helping us to see life’s challenges through the lens of God’s goodness. This rest is a choice to dwell in His presence, to embrace the comfort that comes from knowing we are loved. As we return to this place of peace, our souls are renewed, strengthened by His grace. This rest is not a luxury but a necessity, a reminder that we need God’s presence to sustain us. In choosing to rest, we acknowledge His sovereignty, trusting that His goodness is enough to carry us through. This peace fills our hearts, grounding us in His love and reminding us of His faithfulness.
