Psalm 125:1
Psalm 125:1
They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
Trusting in the Lord provides a rock-solid foundation for life. Those who place their trust in Him are like Mount Zion—unmovable and steadfast. The image of Mount Zion, a symbol of God’s unshakeable kingdom, reflects the stability and security that comes with trusting in God. When we trust in Him, we are rooted in a strength that endures, regardless of external circumstances. This kind of trust is not temporary but eternal, as God’s faithfulness is constant. Just as Mount Zion endures forever, so too does the believer’s faith when anchored in God’s promises. Trusting in the Lord gives us an unshakable peace, knowing that we are secure in His care. The world may change, and trials may come, but God’s trustworthiness remains the same. This enduring trust is a testimony to His unchanging nature and a foundation upon which we can build our lives.
Psalm 62:8
Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
Mark 11:22
Have faith in God, Jesus answered.
Psalm 118:8
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.
Psalm 31:14
But as for me, I trust in you, O Lord; I say, You are my God.
