Psalm 143:1
Psalm 143:1
Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
When we pray, we approach God with the confidence that He hears us, but also with the humility to recognize His faithfulness and righteousness. The psalmist cries out, asking God to hear his prayer and answer in His faithfulness. We are reminded that God is not only able to hear our prayers but is also faithful to respond. His answers are always aligned with His righteousness, which means that He will always respond in a way that is just and good. We may not always understand why or how He answers, but we can trust that His righteousness governs all His decisions. In moments of doubt, we can call upon God's faithfulness, knowing that He will never fail us. Prayer is not only about asking for help but also about resting in the assurance that God listens to our supplications. As we pray, we acknowledge that God's faithfulness is a constant in our lives, and we can find comfort in His righteousness.
